My heart is full

We had a wonderful Christmas with Leila this morning. She actually did a great job unwrapping her presents, which came as a shock to me. I expected that since she was a 4 month old baby that she'd stare at the presents until we opened them, and then she'd smile at the toys, but she ripped that wrapping off and bounced up and down with glee when she saw them. It completely warmed my heart. She is the best Christmas gift I could ever ask for, and now it feels like our family is complete after all these years.

I got almost everything on my wish list (there were too many things there's no way to have gotten them all). Kolt managed to pick the ones I wanted the most and I couldn't be happier. I got a peridot pendant necklace from Kolt's parents, pearl earrings, a book, and an awesome air force hoodie from Kolt. The hoodie says "my hero, my everything, my airman. proud air force wife." I actually got teary eyed when I read what it said because it's so true. He is my hero and my everything.

Kolt of course knew what he was getting. I need to not be so lazy and figure out a way to better disguise his presents next year. I still may have a few tricks up my sleeve....

Well, Leila is awake from her VERY long nap (thanks baby girl) and so I'll close by saying I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year. God Bless.
